Like all TEMPRESS products, the Helm Seat is constructed using materials designed to withstand the rigors of the marine or saltwater environment.

The TEMPRESS StylePanels go beyond the standard snap-on upholstery common in the market, creating a comfortable seating surface that is ergonomically correct without excessive use of foam. The contoured StylePanels, combined with the built-in lumbar support and rolled front edge, make the TEMPRESS Helm Seat perfect for any boat seat application where comfort, durability, and superior style are desired.

If mounting the seat to a standard square swivel with 4 holes, a reinforcing plate (part #57005) must be purchased separately.

The TEMPRESS non-folding Captain seat is ABYC H-31 Compliant, ensuring it exceeds the highest standards for safety in boating. It features a grab handle on the back of the seat to assist in passenger safety when walking about the boat and is not compatible with the TEMPRESS Quick Disconnect Mounting Kit.

The Elite helm seat frame is rotationally molded in polyethylene, making it corrosion-proof and impact-tested. TEMPRESS uses only high-grade materials, such as UV-stable, abrasion-proof continuous filament polyester thread and mildew-resistant, heavy-duty marine-grade vinyl, paying attention to details like the waterfall edge, which allows water to bead off more easily.

The TEMPRESS Elite boat seats include 8 stainless steel 1/4" - 20 x 5/8" mounting bolts with 180 degrees of Loctite applied for added security. There are 8 embedded threaded inserts in the base to accommodate multiple mounting options. A bolt hole pattern of 5" x 5" can be used with a required reinforcement plate #57005, or the seat can be ideally mounted on a rectangular full-length aluminum slide system, which does not require an additional reinforcement plate.
